Green Statement/Products:
THINK GREEN: In Wyoming, we have almost Four-Hundred miles of Snow-fence lining our highways and byways, which makes travel safer during our harsh seven-month winters of constantly blowing snow. Centennial Woods maintains these fences, reclaiming stunning and sustainable weathered wood, while keeping our highways safer.
Before Centennial Woods began harvesting Wyoming Snowfence, older boards were often left on the frame too long and were eventually either burned or thrown in a landfill.
In 1999, recognizing the character and beauty of weathered Wyoming Snowfence, Centennial Woods vowed to repurpose it. By developing National and International markets for this sustainable Wyoming resource, Centennial Woods has repurposed more than 7 million feet of reclaimed wood, saving the State of Wyoming more than $11 million and avoiding emissions of more than 11,500 tons of CO2 emissions.
We are very proud of our mission: To repurpose this valuable resource, while saving lives and helping to relieve the taxpayers’ burden.
