Statement:
When Acme Brick was founded in 1891, homes and buildings were typically clad in a single type of material. In our original market, that material was likely Acme Brick. Today, however, we often see buildings with as many as five different types of cladding. As always, we listen to the changing needs and preferences of our customers – so Brick Is Only The Beginning of what we offer. Visit your local showroom to view cladding options such as thin brick, natural and manufactured stone, metal panel, terra-cotta, and high pressure laminate. Acme also carries items for outdoor living (kitchens, grills, landscape units, and fireplaces) and a large flooring selection (tile, wood, and luxury vinyl).

Green Statement/Products:
Since 1891, we have sited our brick plants to minimize transportation costs. Today many of our 15 plants are within 100 miles of large and fast-growing metro areas, which can contribute to MR credit in LEED 4.1 BD+C for sourcing of raw materials.
Our brick are made from quality earth clays and fired with clean natural gas in highly efficient, computer-controlled kilns. Many of our brick contain significant pre-consumer recycled materials, such as scrap clay and crushed brick that would otherwise go to landfills.
Acme’s commitment to stewardship continues long after production ends. Through our industry-recognized reclamation programs, we have planted hundreds of thousands of trees at inactive production sites and created wetlands that remediate acidic runoff while offering habitat for wildlife.
