Alvarado Manufacturing is a privately held company located in Southern California. Since our founding over 40 years ago, we've grown from a small garage fabrication shop to a true hardware design and manufacturing company that also offers niche market software. Our main facility is a modern 75,000 square foot manufacturing and R & D building. Alvarado is relatively unique for a company of its size because of the breadth of our products. Alvarado started as a designer and fabricator of pedestrian access control fixtures for the grocery and retail industry. Today we still count among our valued customers the majority of the major supermarket chains, plus drug and merchandise retailers.
