Statement:
Sandback's most recent collection debuted at New York's ICFF in 2002. The ten new designs, available in 35 rich, textural colors, feature our innovative cement mix and casting method which makes the pieces relatively lightweight. Rich wood and anodized aluminum bases beautifully set off our cement tops. Contradiction seems to be the essence of Sandback goods. We challenge the orthodox notion of cement being lifeless, heavy and dull. When handled artfully, the material seems to glow. Our colors, by turns rich and subtle, allow you to create the piece that suits you perfectly, whether single hued or a multi-colored composition.
