Tom Corbin

Statement:
In 1986, Tom Corbin left the secure confines of his ad agency job for the unpredictability of life as a full-time sculptor. Today, Corbin pieces appear in over 20 galleries and showrooms, within important public and private collections and on various movie sets. Corbin Bronze products are produced through the “lost wax” and “sand casting” processes, both of which are extremely laborious and exacting. Each piece is then painstakingly patinated, waxed and polished, to protect and enhance its surface. A lyrical fusion of totemic reference and elegant twentieth century Modernism, Tom’s work continues to evolve through his integration of color, texture, structure and attitude.

New Products:
Announcing Girl with Apple II Tall, the latest piece from Corbin’s sculpture studio. A part of the “Giving Female” series, Tom sees this reflective figure as both benevolent and highly symbolic.
Vela and Corvus were designed to simultaneously have a larger physical footprint and also have greater visual presence, creating dynamic tension on a table surface.
