The adventure of Tucker Robbins begins with the study of indigenous cultures of Asia, Africa and Latin America. Inspired by traditional design, Tucker creates new work with specific tribes in the Philippines, Indonesia and elsewhere, synthesizing the ulitarian tools of agrarian cultures with modern design and utility. By honoring the ancient woods of the equatorial belt, Tucker both recycles ancient tools and creates new forms, infusing the old, the new, the tribal and the modern. Each piece of Tucker Robbins furniture is hand crafted and inherently unique due to the exotic hardwoods used in production. Our expert cabinetmakers have the experience and capabilities to produce custom designs in addition to the products in our catalog.
