We believed there was a large and expanding market for high quality, non-proprietary 'universally maintainable' equipment. Evidently our instincts were good. Today, Motion Control Engineering, Inc. has grown to be the largest independent manufacturer of elevator control and monitoring systems in the world. Our plan was to be the best. Getting big just happened along the way.
