Statement:
In the 1970’s, Paul, Edmund, Alex, and Steven Peykar first became involved in the carpet and area rug business at the retail level, operating a store in Westbury, Long Island. Those years provided the brothers with truly invaluable experience in understanding the needs, the supply and merchandising issues, that confronted retailers who depended on traditional importers and replenishment strategies.
