Statement:
McKee Surfaces began with the vision to manufacture quality buttons made out of clamshells. The company started business in 1895 as McKee Button Company, and by the turn of the century, it was the largest manufacturer of pearl buttons in the world.
In the 1950′s, the company evolved, along with the apparel industry, by changing from pearl to polyester as the preferred material for buttons. Today we use our expertise in materials to transform plastics into a variety of styles, colors and patterns that create new and innovative designs for home, commercial, and retail interiors, transitioning to what has become McKee Surfaces.
